Appeal for Nawaz Sharif's sentencing hearing on medical grounds objectionable

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's sentencing hearing on the medical grounds has been fixed for objections, Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani will hear the objections.

According to details, a petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court on the bail of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. In the petition filed in the court, Shahbaz Sharif took the stand that the appeal against the sentence of seven years imprisonment in Al-Azizia reference to Nawaz Sharif is pending hearing till Nawaz Sharif's medical report. Part of the petition has been made, stating that the former Prime Minister is suffering from more than a dozen life-threatening illnesses and the health of Nawaz Sharif has deteriorated to a dangerous extent during the recent imprisonment so Nawaz Sharif should be allowed treatment in Pakistan or abroad.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's lawyers have asked the Islamabad High Court to hear the petition today. Chairman NAB, DG NAB Lahore, Superintendent Kot Lakhpat Jail and MS Services Hospital have been made party in the petition.

Registrar Islamabad High Court objected to Nawaz Sharif's suspension request Registrar's Office objected that the petitioner Shahbaz Sharif is not the affected party. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's request for a suspension of suspension has been fixed for hearing with the objections.
